DESCRIPTION:
This unique project consisted of renovating a 170,000 sq. ft., 4-story, vintage poured-in-place and masonry structure into a 225-room, four-star luxury hotel. Two 12,000 sq. ft. atriums were cut into the existing building to create interior artwork and sculpture display areas. The hotel features the fine dining restaurant LeCote Brasserie. Other amenities include 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, rooftop pool and fitness facility, 2,500 sq. ft. street level art gallery space and a full service hotel laundry facility. The 1910 property is in the National Historic Register, was renovated and restored in compliance with the National Park Service requirements and qualified for federal historic tax credits.
