The Saxony is a new 75-unit, 135,000 square-foot condominium building built on the Bywater site of the old L.A. Frey & Sons meatpacking plant. The five-story project features studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom floor plans ranging from 640 to 1,450 square feet, each with a private terrace or balcony providing views of the river or courtyard.
The development consists of a 36,000-square-foot cast in place concrete parking structure providing the building podium and an elevated amenity courtyard. The four floors above are light gage metal framed structure with TPO roofing. The exterior skin is brick and stucco.
Individual unit features include LED lighting, European-style cabinets, quartz countertops, gas ranges, stainless steel appliances, and wood & scored concrete flooring.
The building also boasts a pool, fitness room, garden courtyard, dog run, two elevators, an electric vehicle charging station, bike storage, and one parking space for each unit.
